Cajón Drum

i have a schalgwerk 2inOne Dual. pretty good i should say. reasonably good snare and awesome bass! both sides of the cajon can be played. one side with snare, the other without. i dont know much about the snare-less side, but i heard people use it to play flamenco.

Personally, Schlagwerk is one of the best cajons yet for me. They have a neutral character compared to the big brands like LP and Meinl. Snare wires are adjustable, and because they're built well they resonate much better too.

There are a few cajons that interest me...

1) PRK percussion cajons from Spain - They have huge bass resonance compared to any other cajons so far! ( around SGD 450 - 600 )

2) BEAT'ABOX cajons - Beautiful custom-made cajons to suit Acoustic-playing. Crispy snare and deep bass for its price! Great cajon to start with! ( around SGD 250-300 )

3) Schlagwerk Fineline series - Nice tone overall! nice wood texture to play on! (around SGD 700 - 750 )


From what i know, places like Ranking sports, Beatabox (online shop), Swee lee and some other small retail outlets have them...
