Hi all my name is Gerald, I’m currently 25 and I’ve been playing guitar since I was 13.
These are my qualifications:
- Grade 8 Rock School (Electric Guitar)
- Grade 5 ABRSM (Theory)
- Diploma In Teaching (Music)
- Diploma In (Music & Audio Tech)
- MOE Art & Music Instructor License (AMIS)
On top of managing 2 businesses I own a Music Enrichment School that caters to teaching various music programmes to Primary & Secondary Schools.
I’m proud to say we are the first Music Enrichment School to curate and conduct Electric Guitar modules to MOE School students from as young as 9 years old. That includes renting and supplying up to 40 Electric Guitars per class. We have over 200 Electric Guitars in our inventory.
I like to keep myself busy and would love to start giving individual lessons again.
I’m comfortable with most styles and I would be able to teach you:
- Scales/modes
- Improvisation
- Various Techniques
- Music Theory
- Chords (as well as forming your own chords)
- Recording & Gear
- Identifying your strengths and weaknesses and setting an attainable goal for you to achieve during the course of the lessons.
- And most importantly how to play with emotion and forming your own style of play.

Lessons will be conducted at my condo in Ang Mo Kio,which is walking distance from Ang Mo Kio and Yio Chu Kang mrt. Also free parking for those who drives haha. I have a studio which is a very conducive environment for learning.
Timing wise you can contact me and we can arrange a reasonable time slot to suit you.
My rates are $35 for 45mins and $40 for an hr.
Also I know being comfortable and choosing a suitable instructor to suit your needs is important. I will be able to host a free 20mins trial lesson. At the end of the lesson, if you feel I am not a suitable instructor for you, please don’t be shy and feel free to let me know. I’ll be able to alliance you with the various other instructors who work with me
