Active Pickups with no routing for battery

Hey people, just found out something great from my research on Jackson soloists. It's for those who wants to swap out their passive pickups for active pickups but don't want any routing in their body for the battery. It's a simple and neat installation.

Here's the link:

The example in the link illustrates one for the Jackson but the manufacturer can customize one for your guitar specifically as well.

As quoted "For those of you who think you'd like something like this but aren't sure if it will fit in your cavity, please feel free and I'll be happy to help figure it out with you."

i have something like that in my early 90s Shadow guitar.
came from the factory like that.
the difference is mine lays flat, so smaller cavity's are no prob.

that's just for easier battery access, if your guitar doesnt have a large enough cavity it still won't solve the problem. that said, its pretty rare to find a guitar with absolutely no space in the cavity to accomadate a 9v. if it can be done in an ibanez s-series it can be done anywhere..
