Hi all,
Purple Turtle Records is developing a major movement (tentatively named "365") and seeks musical geniuses-to-be to be part of a programme with strategic plans to once and for all, cultivate and create authentic homegrown stars. Our eye is on the global prize so we are not limited to the SG market.
The main objective is two-fold and correlated; To get you recognised and be famous for your craft and music and/or to get you signed to a major record label in 365 days. You will not expect monetary returns in the infant stage of this programme, but you can be assured of award-winning branding, gigs, music videos and a documentary in support which will naturally be rewarding monetarily. And nope, you will not be paying for your participation either. The main man in charge of your progress has played at the highest level on the same stage as Nine Inch Nails, Suede and Public Enemy before, just so you know.
We are looking for the following categories:
1) Rock Bands (Must have original compositions) - 2 slots
2) Pop/ Rap / R n B Solo artists (Must have original compositions) - 2 slots
3) Female Pop virtuoso performers/ singers (If you don't write your own songs, they will be provided for you) - 1 slot
Compulsory requirements:
1) You want to take it all the way to the top and possess the ability, tenacity and diligence to attain it.
2) You will not have major distractions such as national service and overseas studies in the next 2 years.
3) You understand it takes real conviction and commitment and sometimes sacrifice to maximise your potential of success. But hey, what's one less birthday party in exchange for greatness?
