ok so Gibson can do anything they wish to, it's their prerogative- but i would have more respect for them if they don't come up with such wares...

I think Gibson should just focus on improving their standards and quality to what it used to be. Only the custom shops are close to the Gibson standard, the normal factory made ones aren't as good as before. They should take some pointers from PRS.

yes those are emgs on board the double-cut.its an 85/85 combination.

Its not a super thin one, its a carved bodied SG.

Its a limited edition SG Diablo in metallic red.

I think it looks super sexy, curves everywhere!

actually, the pickups were made SPECIFICALLY to be easily swapped out - check out their guitar of the, week? page. comes stock with extra p-90s; uses some magnetic system cum wire clip for quick replacement.

Eh. The way a pickup is mounted affects the sound and sustain and everything else.

There's a reason to do so and an interesting reason I believe.
