For promoting an events, there are two ways.
1, Use Facebook ads, set up a campaign and run it to reach to other people.
2, Building a facebook fanpage ( for free) building it and introduce it to other people.

But it's for event online, i mean when you don't promote it here. But if yes, you can contact to admin for put an ads on this forum for that events.
