  2. Re: Wanted: Accoustic Guitarist and Keyboardist

Well it doesn't hurt to try, I guess! I'll send you an email soon.
  3. Re: Wanted: Accoustic Guitarist and Keyboardist

You must be aware that virtuoso musicians who are also able to arrange, produce and record are charging rates that are in line with their top of range skills. Maybe you should mention how much you...
  4. Re: Where to buy a PC designed specifically for professional audio engineering

You are right! I do have spares too, you never know... I'm mainly doing mixing and mastering though, so I usually have some time to adjust in case of a breakdown.

If I record myself, I will do it...
  5. Re: Where to buy a PC designed specifically for professional audio engineering

Yes I am surprised as well but that is what the Focusrite support told me so... It's still very much usable though, the only thing is that I need to switch the speakers off when changing the sample...

    Hi,

If you want to record audio into your computer it's an audio interface you need, not just a mixer. Some entry level devices are available in your budget. Here you can find a few good...

    Duran Duran - Ordinary World

Isn't it a little bit tough these day to act as if we were living in an ordinary world? That's what listening to this song made me feel so I decided to cover it. Great song with incredible...
  10. Re: Additional cymbal for Roland TD-11KV

Ok thanks for the tip. I'm not sure it's a good idea to try that now though, with everything that's going on international shipments are badly disrupted.
  11. Re: Additional cymbal for Roland TD-11KV

I guess... Never used that kind of service. If I use it, I can have the parcel shipped from Thomann in Germany to a place in Europe, then re-shipped to Singapore, is that right?
  12. Additional cymbal for Roland TD-11KV

Hi all, I am looking for an additional crash cymbal + arm for a Roland TD-11KV. Swee Lee is the Roland distributor but they don't have the parts available at the moment and they won't answer my...

  20. Re: Mix practise : Crazy For Me ( by Random Somebody )

Here is my take on this song: https://soundcloud.com/swmusicprod/crazy-for-me-random-somebody

About your mix: I like how you addressed most of the issues I mentioned above, it has a nice clarity....
  21. Re: Mix practise : Crazy For Me ( by Random Somebody )

    Hey,

I like that you put this out there to comment and share your practice. I want to give you some valuable input so I managed to find and download the multitrack and I am currently doing a quick...
  22. Re: Mix Practise: "4 on the 10" by "Ripe"

I also mixed this song a few months ago. I think your mix is good: you went for brightness and focus while I went for warmth and analog vibes, it is interesting to hear two different views of the...

Re: Buying Martin guitar in Singapore

    You could also check https://www.bernardgodfreyguitars.com/.

Just a heads up: Sapele wood is prone to bloating easily in Singapore climate so you'd better make sure your guitar remains in a room...
  24. Re: My Martin D-15Mahogany pickguard shrinked while inside the case

That's it, stable and close to average (50%). Obviously stable at 80% humidity is not going to do any good either :)

I think anyone owning one or several nice guitars in Singapore should buy a...
  25. Re: My Martin D-15Mahogany pickguard shrinked while inside the case

Hey Hairball, no disrespect but I think dehumidifying the room once a week is not good advice. A guitar doesn't like humidity changes, it will stay safer in an environment at a constant 60% humidity...
