Stärker Music, in collaboration with Cross Ratio Entertainment, presents to you Stärker Music Jams 2019. Registration is open from 25 July 2019 till 30 August 2019, 2359h.
We welcome all passionate singers and bands aged 18 and above!
Stärker Music Jams is a platform for aspiring singers and bands to gain traction in the local music scene as well as being mentored by industry veterans such as Dex Wong (manager of Gentle Bones, YAØ & Gareth Fernandez), Willy Tan (previously managed Jasmine Sokko and ShiGGa Shay).
They will learn from the cream of the crop of Singapore's music scene and perform at the Stärker Music Carnival to a crowd of over thousands event-goers alongside renowned regional and local artistes. The lineup of Stärker Music Carnival 2019 will be announced at a later date.
Last year's champion was local bilingual singer-songwriter, Soph T.. Her melodious voice and stage confidence helped her win a three-month residency with Stärker Music, a one-year management deal with Cross Ratio Entertainment, and a single produced by local veteran producer, George Leong sponsored by Stärker Group. She will be releasing her debut single this August.
Breakdown for Stärker Music Jams
Open Call:
1. Participate by uploading a 60s video of yourself singing on Facebook and/or Instagram. Tag mention Stärker Music (@starkermusicsg on Facebook / @starkermusic on Instagram) and Cross Ratio Entertainment (@crossratio on Facebook/Instagram) with the hashtag #starkermusicjams2019
2. The post should be set to public.

*Participants should be 18 years old and above. They may sign up as a soloist or as a band.
*Semi-Finalists will be chosen based on their vocal ability.
Semi-Final:
The semi-final will be held at selected Stärker outlets in the month of September. Each performance should last 20 minutes, including 4 to 5 songs and audience engagement.
The semi-finalists will be judged based on their vocal abilities, presentation and audience engagement. The finalists will be selected from the live performances at Stärker Music Outlet based on Music Industry Judges (40%), Stärker Group Management (40%) and also Public Voting (20%).
Finals:
Once the finalists have emerged, they will proceed with their preparation for the Final with the mentorship of the industry professionals, held on the stage of Stärker Music Carnival.
