The Xotic Effects EP booster is a very versatile booster. it has internal dip switches that allow the user to customize the pedal's characteristics to suit the user's needs best. it has a bright switch which adds high ends to the tone as well as a gain switch that adds 3DB of extra volume. this pedal is especially useful for pushing amps into overdrive or adding further gain to 12-18 Volt pedals. the EP booster is not your average clean boost as it is EQ-ed and will change your sound for the better. I find it useful as it is small, has 9-18 Volt acceptance, adds a tonal boost to sound and very versatile.
