The Paul C Timmy is a transparent low - mid overdrive pedal with an expanded EQ control. The Timmy features a pre-overdrive bass control and a post-overdrive treble control allowing the player to have complete control over the tone. it also offers multiple clipping options of symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping. the pedal has a very warm tone to it but it seems to have too much bass on it even with the bass controls low, but it does not sound muffled. this is an excellent overdrive for strats, stacking and ambient guitar. when tacking, i highly recommend stacking this overdrive with an overdrive/ distortion with a pronounced mid - high frequency voicing to get the most out of this pedal. i like to stack this pedal on top of a Fulltone OCD and a pre-overdrive EP booster. i find this pedal to be worth the money as it was very affordable through http://www.pedalsunlimited.com/ and it does offer versatility.
