1978 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Cherry Sunburst finish. Plays and sounds great.

Serial number placed it as being made on 1st June 1978. Authenticity of guitar have been verified by Gibson through serial number and photos.
The nitro lacquer on her neck has been naturally worn off by her previous owner. It has one piece solid mahogany body with 3-piece maple neck. Frets have been replaced with medium jumbo and have loads of life left.
The pickups and pots had been replaced at some point in 2008. Comes with orange drop capacitors, Dimazio PAF Humbuckers (DP103 and DP223) with push-pull tone knobs. The wiring harness plate and the tin-can cavity shield had been removed by previous owner.
The neck pickup ring is broken but is still screwed firmly on the maple top. I think the pickguard might be a newer replacement.
Original tuners in working condition. Lower E tuner's chrome finish was worn to brass.
Original tail piece and bridge. No repairs or headstock damage.
Comes with a newer Gibson USA hardcase with white plush lining.
