Roost SR100 100W amp head
An ultra-rare example of British Hiwattish/Sound Cityesque greatness.

Vintage early 1970's Roost SR100 tube 100 watt amplifier (s/n 13397) that was made in Southside-On-Sea Essex England.
This amp was born in the mid-'70s. It is definitely an earlier Roost, as evidenced by the model name. Partridge Transformers (later Roosts did not use Partridge), and metal switches (plastic on later models).
Features:
100 watts
4ohm/8ohm/16ohm impedance selector
Voltage selector
Functional condition is excellent.
Cosmetic condition is fair.
This amp has 2 inputs Normal and 2 inputs
Brilliant with separated volume controls and a general volume. This amp does not react like a master volume: to take advantage of the amp saturation, you have to play it loud.
Warning, earplugs required, this amp is not for choir boys, it's heavy metal before anyone knew what metal was.
This amp is loud, crisp & clean, you will not believe the sound it puts out. It's copied after the vintage HiWatt amps and hooked up to a 4 x 12 cab, it will blow your doors off the hinges. Amp was serviced in August 2014 , now its time to blow people away with it, but now it's time to pass it on.
Cosmetically, for it's age it's in pretty good shape with the exception of 1 tear on the top back
Overall: it's a killer amp, and has served me well, with no issues whatsoever. It's a great choice if you wish and/or can't afford a vintage Hiwatt or Marshall Plexi
