Hi!
This may sound unusual since I can't find another more suitable forum to post this. I'm male, late 20s, and I'm looking for amateur musicians to play duets with. Having learnt the instrument for about 2 years, I consider myself a beginner on the violin. I'd prefer players who are around the same standard and are interested in a bit of distraction from their routine solo practice. I've some duet scores and if there's enough interest, we can try to do new arrangements of other pieces, time permitting.
The same goes for the erhu, except that I started playing it way before I started on the violin. I must admit that it's less commonly used for duets, but there are some pieces that I'd like to try out. I'm open to the idea of a third instrument to provide accompaniment if more complex pieces are attempted.
