Don't wear nylon clothing

You'd better not wear nylon clothing while singing, I know this sounds stupid, but so will all these friction sounds due to any little move you make in such clothes.
You'll have to end the session stripped in your underwear : people in the control-room are in for a good laugh.

that studio mic must have been super sensitive to pick you such sounds. or maybe the nylon shirt is 100% nylon. didnt try it b4 though.

wow... i've heard about not wearing leather and latex (obvious reasons) but nylon's definitely one in my book... :p

Doesn't make any sense, what has clothing to do with anything...
Sound absorbs into clothing, but that's what ya want, less reflectiveness means less reverb. But latex and leather makes negligible difference, since your clothing is not straight, the reflection is still totally diffused. And nylon absorbs, which is ok...
Of course, don't wear those high turtlenecks that can choke your neck.... but anything else should be ok...
