2 guitarists forming band. Bassist and a female vox needed
Hello, we are 2 19 year old guitarists with influences ranging from Clapton, Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Guns'n'Roses, Dream Theater, Mr BIG, Joe Satriani, to artistes such as Andy Mckee, Radiohead, Blur, Oasis, The Pretenders, Metric , Divnyls, Collective soul, RHCP, Dire straits, Boston, U2, Hiromi Uehara, Jeff Buckley, Jefferson Airplane, Santana, Daft Punk, Jamiroquai, etc. One of us will undergo BMT in May, be we are fully committed to form a SERIOUS band that will GO FAR.
The sound of the band will be anything from guitar driven music to filthy groovy tunes to experimental.
We aim to jam first, establish a more definitive band direction before branching out to gigs and originals
Skillwise, we can't shred or do stuff that are too fancy but we can play decently. We performed with a guitar ensemble in the past and had done a couple of solo performances before.
Members do not need to have killer skills. Decent skills and an appreciation for most forms of music (except that of a certain 17 year old canadian teen) will be welcomed. We believe that music should be progressive and hope to incorporate as many influences as possible. (is this paragraph contradictory? lol)
