    DIrectBox

    I am stuck with an XLR connection which I use for my mic. Will getting a DI box enable me to use the mic and my PC's mp3 (connected through USB to the DI box) together without much distortion? If so, will a passive one do? What are the prices like? any recommendations on where to get such. TIA
