Currently I've got a Hot Lead for Tele but it's got that twangy sound which I don't like. I like it to have a full sound like a humbucker does...any recommendations for a pickup like that?
So I decided I should change my amp before changing my pedal...I know I'm gonna a lot of flak for the non-digital thing but while I'm not a tone purist or whatever they're called, you can't deny that there is a difference between analog and digital.
My budget isn't very big...probably about 300...
I currently have the older version GT2 now. I think I would like something different thus am considering the crunchbox or tubezone. Currently when I play at home, I use the california model (Mesa Boogie, I think) but I use the british model (Marshall) for recording.
Generally, I like the old...
Anyone knows which shop sells a stand for 4? Prefer the ones in a straight line. Like the Warwick Rockstand type. I don't wana a stand for 5 'coz that would make me wanna buy a guitar just to fill up that empty spot.
I've got a choice for putting in new pickups for my new Tele (pictures up after I've finished fondling with it)
I've decided between these 2 (Seymour Duncans)...STHR-1b hot rails and STK-T2b hot stack. I play punk music and don't really care about how real teles should sound.
Thanks for your...
Say I'm thinking of re-routing for a SP90-2 or SP90-3. They're hotter than P-90s and I think that's what I'm going for. But are there any humbucking I'm not sure what they're supposed to be called that are similar to the 2?
I'm looking for one that's good enough for bedroom playing, won't make you pawn your wallet and is able to give a Marshall like sound.
I've currently got a Marshall MG15CDR and was looking to get a Roland Cube 30 but the distortion isn't really what I'm looking for...but yea, looking to get...
This was recorded at my friend's house using his instruments: http://www.purevolume.com/bendf
It's a cover of Holiday, btw...it sounds a little rough at some parts...used wrong chords for the intro...but give me opinions?
Guess the gear used!
I play stuff from Green Day, No Use For a Name and NOFX...I plan on changing the my Epi LP's pickup but am stuck between the 2. I've got a JB in my strat, so I roughly get the idea of the sound I'll get when I put it in my LP. But I'm not sure how the Phat Cat will sound...
So...advice?
Is the bass side supposed to be higher than the treble side? Also, how high are the strings supposed to be from the end of the freatboard for the action to be considered high?
So I'm on a tight budget...I've got a choice between an Epi LP Jr Special, J&D LC3 or J&D LC1.
Having a headache deciding between the pros and cons...budget's around 400++. Me plays Punk music...
