With a fresh approach to the bass and a fearlessness to match, Wendy is a Yamaha and Analysis Plus endorsed artist, and has performed with Akira Jimbo (Casiopea), James LoMenzo (Megadeth), Mel Gayner (Simple Minds), Shaggy, Emma Shapplin and Riki Hendrix, as well as released a bass solo EP “Between Here And Then” (2008) to glowing reviews by Musikuz (Czech) and Bass Frontiers Magazine (US).

She is noted for her speed bass -tapping and extensive usage of music technology in performances from live-looping to multi-tracking on the iPhone. Wendy has been featured on radio and TV networks Channel News
Asia, Lush 99.5FM, Redifussion, and Mediacorp News Radio 93.8 FM.

Proficient on both electric and upright bass, Wendy originally underwent classical piano lessons at age 6. Inspired by the music of Jamiroquai and Marcus Miller, she later transitioned to playing the bass and worked
with bands in funk, soul, progressive rock, and jazz music. Shows that Wendy has played at include the MTV Asia Awards, Mosaic Music Festival, Singapore Wine and Jazz Festival, Nike She Runs 5km, ESPNStar Sports X-Games Asia and Baybeats Music Festival. As an artist endorsee, she conducts Yamaha bass clinics, judged at the Yamaha Asian Beat competitions, and is a Yamaha bass instructor.

In music production, Wendy has worked with award-winning presenters from BBC and major record labels worldwide to produce inflight radio shows for Singapore Airlines, Air China and American Airlines. As a composer and arranger, her work includes creating ringtones (Synrgic Uno M1), game soundtracks (LINX/Ectivise and Weike Gaming Slot Machines) and producing meditation albums (Yantara Jiro and Audrey Agcaoili).

She is the bassist in Lily Of The Valley (all-female jazz), Ootini! (math rock) and Stealing Sirens (pop).
