TRUTH CORRODED are a Thrash/Death Metal act from Adelaide, Australia, offering a vicious & confronting sound.
After almost a year since the release of the band's latest album 'THE SAVIOURS SLAIN' South Australian thrash/death metal band TRUTH CORRODED have had an immense journey. Kicking off with an appearance on the Adelaide SOUNDWAVE Festival performing alongside bands such as GOJIRA, TESTAMENT, MASTODON and TRIVIUM, followed by a tour across Australia, South Korea, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Japan supporting bands such as THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, before returning to Australia for a tour alongside KRISIUN - 2014 has been massive ! To add to such a huge year, TRUTH CORRODED won Best Heavy Act in the SA Fowlers Live Music Award for the third year running.
The band have worked hard to achieve such success, relentlessly pursuing its aim to create a confronting thrash and death metal crossover sound. Bringing the noise to the world, for the past several years TRUTH CORRODED developed its international profile with tours throughout Europe, Japan, China and South East Asia sharing the stage with titans such as LAMB OF GOD, BEHEMOTH, FEAR FACTORY, ARCH ENEMY, SEPULTURA, MALEVOLENT CREATION, KRISIUN, ORIGIN and many more. The determination to be heard led to the band securing an international record deal with European label AFM Records ( Fear Factory, Ministry, Mors Principium Est ) and an international management deal with US agency Extreme Management Group ( CATTLE DECAPITATION, ORIGIN, SUFFOCATION )
2015 is shaping up to see the band go to a new level, writing and recording the follow up to the Mark Lewis ( THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, DEVILDRIVER,UNEARTH, CANNIBAL CORPSE ) produced album 'The Saviours Slain' ( which also features guest performances by Kevin Talley of SUFFOCATION, Bret Hoffmann of MALEVOLENT CREATION and Craig Locicero of FORBIDDEN ), a European tour in April and touring the US and South America for the first time. They have also won awards such as Best Metal Band at the South Australian Fowlers Music Awards - 2012, 2013 & 2014!
