Default how to: midi to wav

Hello people. Do you guys know of any FREE midi to wav converters? i've tried using the normal way of conversion;recording the midi sound directly while the midi plays but it results in alot of quality loss. really sounds like shit.

thing is, i've made some drum tracks using guitar pro and i wanna put it up into my recording software; cool edit, but i'll need a wav file.

Thanks in advance!

Try this: http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/M.../MidiMeow.html

It's called MIDI Meow. I personally have never used this though, so have no clue on how good or bad this is...

it depends on what you want.

MIDI is just data. It isn't an audio file. When you sequence a track, the MIDI is the "instruction" and the samples are the audio files.

So to convert MIDI data to Wav is just to sequence something and bounce it..

MIDI is not audio...
