heres the original 1 from the book by Rick Considine/groove by steve gadd.

heres the variation i did...didnt change much...sticking is the same...added accents to emphasise back beats...moved a snare beat up to the hihat to make it into a groove...

right now the bass drum is pretty simple...once you get the hang of it...i guess the bass drum part would be free for improvisation.

cheers!

I did paradiddle and double paradiddle applications and orchestrations. Moving around the kit for solo ideas and also grooves applications strictly based on paradiddle and double paradiddle. An example of the double-paradiddle move will be sumtin like tis: RLRLRR LRLRLL where ur playing all the R moves on the ride, preferably the bell and ur L on the hats, wif the exception of the third L note, which is played on the snare, also, add a kick on the first R note. The feel of tis groove should be of a triplet orientation. Oh ya, did show a demo of the above Gadd's linear 32nd too.

mel bro, try this:

http://2112design.com/

the shareware have some limitations, but shld be no problem to screen cap the towgay and then crop it in photoshop (or
"paint" in accessories) check it out, play around with the software abit... (u can find stuff like ruff/accents/flams in a menu item called 'Special')

there are similar freeware/shareware drum notation software too.... (there's also one http://www.berkleeshares.com/ recommends)

thanks all bros and keep it coming!!!!!!
